Alessandro Michele: “this photo was taken last summer in France, in Château de Chambord’s park. The oak tree is my favorite tree, it is absolutely the tree I love most, an ancient, resistant tree. I have many other favorites, another is the Paulownia tree (original Japanese name kiri 桐), which has purple flowers in spring, then the flowers fall and the leaves sprout. Below my house in Rome there are some Paulownias, planted in the 1800s, which I admire from the window." The creative director’s message for the Gucci Community on Earth Day 2020 is that nature is trying to tell us something, and we should listen closely to what it has to say. #GucciOffTheGrid
