Explore the scenes of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich's exhibit "Bally – Swiss Shoes Since 1851" from March – August 2019. The comprehensive retrospective looked back at our extensive history, tracing the development of shoe design and production to modern day. Presenting a wide range of Bally shoes from different eras, whether classic leather dress shoes to contemporary sneakers in pop colors, the exhibit also included a display case of two hundred archival samples, shoemaking components and tools, vintage film reels and a selection of our iconic #BallyPosters. “Bally – Swiss Shoes Since 1851” was curated by the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich's curator Karin Gimmi, the Bally Archive's Rebekka Gerber, and Zurich University of the Arts' professor Katharina Tietze and lecturer Anna-Brigitte Schlittler.
