Over 3,000 runners push their limits and embark on the Gobi Desert Challenge

Over 3,000 runners push their limits and embark on the Gobi Desert Challenge in China to run 108 km along the Silk Road over the course of four days, seeking for the answer to the ultimate question—what am I running for? We followed the Geshishan team’s journey beyond a test of endurance while running from sunrise to sunset. Fierce wind, sandstorms and extreme temperatures, ranging from -15°C to 40°C, did not stop them from crossing the finish line together as the winning team. Learn more about their journey:
