Located in Ordonnac in the Médoc, Château Potensac belongs to Jean-Hubert Delon, also the owner of the famous châteaux Léoville Las Cases and Nénin. The vineyard extends over 84 ha, on limestone soil, covered by gravelly-clay slopes. Some plots were planted over 80 years ago and the entire vineyard is worked in an environmentally friendly way. La Chapelle de Potensac is the domaine’s second wine, a blend of 70% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabern...et franc, matured in oak barrels for about a year. It is characterised by its elegance, its equilibrium between roundness and freshness.
