½ cup + 3 tbsp butter (can sub with coconut oil)
1 ¾ cup + 2 tbsp flour (can sub with almond flour)...
½ tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salt
½ cup sugar (can sub with coconut sugar)
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup (or more to taste!) of See’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat about 5 minutes, until bubbling and foaming. Once butter is amber in color, transfer to a small bowl. Scrape the browned bits from the pan into the bowl too. Add one teaspoon of water, and stir. Place bowl in the freezer to cool while you prepare the other ingredients. In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Remove browned butter from the freezer and add to the mix along with sugar and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla extract. Then, stir in See’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips gently. Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, two inches apart on parchment-lined cookie sheets. Bake for ~10-12 minutes and enjoy! 展开
