If the Rockies and Sierra form wildlife corridors, then the Tongass National Forest is the ballroom these corridors lead to. In March, a federal judge rejected a plan that would have allowed logging in the Tongass. At the moment, it is unclear whether or not the US Forest Service will abandon its plans to put the timber up for bid. Read @adaktug's story on The Cleanest Line here:
