We fundamentally oppose any weakening of the Endangered Species Act and are outraged by the Administration’s actions this morning. This attack on the Endangered Species Act panders to destructive, extractive industries. The Endangered Species Act is a critical environmental law that has proven successful - 99% of listed species have survived and many more have been set on a path to recovery. In the face of the extinction crisis, now is not the time to rollback the protections in the ESA.
