Repost our Creative Director @john_k_harrison Part 4.

Repost our Creative Director @john_k_harrison Part 4. ‘ case studies ‘. ‘ from the design stage we develop the individual ideas up to a finished garment. The following slides show how from an initial idea an item is realised. The cactus from SS began with a photo of succulents, and a fern embroidery. Draw up and placed on the garment by the talented Edward , it forms a engineered repeat pattern. Woven panel by panel to create the final jacket as shown. ‘The boat scarf was a ...vintage Gieves scarf from the 60’s which we re scaled and used in different areas , a lining for a mac, and a pocket square. ‘The blossom floral was a vintage piece of wallpaper that Emily cleverly re worked into a scarf and tie and pocket square. The lead image is our crown ships logo , 1771 , a gift to Robert Gieve , as it is usually reserved for naval use. @ Gieves & Hawkes 展开
