【「社創．社區4.0」比賽 青年創科改善社區】
九龍城區餐廳林立，人口密集，產生嘅廚餘當然唔少啦！為咗改善該區嘅衛生問題，「社創．社區4.0」比賽冠軍隊伍、來自真光女書院嘅同學仔就創作咗「廚餘回收好易啫」計劃。項目將引入廚餘回收機進行實驗同改良，率先喺區內餐廳運作，推動減廢之餘，更普及轉廢為農場肥料等環保概念。 由花旗集團基金支持、香港社會服務聯會（社聯）主辦嘅「社創．社區4.0」比賽，透過讓學生實地考察、提供技術培訓和街坊線上交流，鼓勵佢哋深入認識社區，利用科技及創意構思解難方案。進入決賽嘅14個實體原型作品連同21個意念展示即日起於網上公開展覽，一齊欣賞吓同學仔嘅創意作品啦！... 網上展覽：
【The “Social Innovation • Community 4.0” Competition Encourages Youngsters to Develop Innovative Solutions for Local Community】
Crowded with restaurants and residents, Kowloon City district – like many other areas in Hong Kong – generates huge amounts of food waste every day creating hygiene problems. To improve the situation, the champion team of the “Social Innovation • Community 4.0” Competition from True Light Girls' College developed “Easy Food Waste”. The project involves recycling machines, which will be introduced into the district for an initial experimentation and evaluation period with local restaurants, with the aim of converting leftover food into compost for use in farms. Supported by Citi Foundation and organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Competition challenged the participating teams – through facilitating experiential learning in the community, comprehensive training and interaction with locals online – to identify a community issue and address it with creative solutions. 14 prototypes by finalist teams, together with 21 idea boards from the rest of the entrants, have been exhibited online starting from today.
