I feel like I am only where I am because of the kindness and generosity of people who saw something in ...me, spent time with me, and gave me direction, ideas, and encouragement. Whenever we can do that for people, especially strangers, that is a gift that we've been given." "I’d say that, as I’ve gotten older, it’s just gotten easier to be more comfortable in my own skin. Being able to say “I don’t know what that is”, or, “I feel like a total fraud about that”...those are things that when you’re younger, you feel like you have to pretend, or that you have to know everything...and I think that the confidence that comes with age is such a gift, and it’s one of those things that just takes time to get to that place." // See more
