Named after Cecyle Rychner, the wife of our namesake founder Carl Franz Bally, this handworked, house-defining signature embodies the galvanizing spirit of our formidable matriarch. Not only did Cecyle help lead community-driven causes with Carl Franz, from opening a special education school for girls to building a public swimming pool, she also... inspired her husband to evolve his business into shoemaking from silk ribbons during an earlier business trip to Paris, when Carl Franz bought multiple pairs of the same shoe for Cecyle because of their innovative closures. Today's Cecyle features a similarly subtle touch––an alluring keyhole clasp in robust dye cast metal that's magnetic, opening and closing with effortless ease.
